professionalism is the way

The model of professionalism in nursing represents
inner and outer processes, manifesting professionalism.
Accountability establishes

Responsibility is the process of

Leadership is the

There are five types of leadership styles:
transactional, transformational, laissez-faire, bureaucratic, and situational.
Common nursing roles include
caregiver, critical thinker, advocate, change agent, educator, counselor, leader, mentor, researcher, and care coordinator.
The chain of command is a framework with designated lines of
communication used to include, notify, or voice a concern/issue to a supervisor.
Shared governance is a collaborative effort to
not only control one’s own practice but the authority to improve it.

A legal obligation with a moral and ethical commitment to do the right thing every time and in every situation.
professionalism
Embodies the actions, behaviors, and attitudes of an individual that are reflective of the core values, ethical principles, and regulatory guidelines of the professon.
responsibility
An obligation to perform work, duties, or tasks using sound professional judgment.
unprofessionalism
Refers to conduct that does not adhere to the standards of practice or the Code of Ethics.
