Radiocarbon dating (also called carbon-14 dating)

A

All living things contain carbon-14 when there alive. When we die the level of carbon-14 in the once-living tissue begins to drop at a steady rate. This means that the older the tissue, the less carbon-14 it contains, how little can tell us how old.
