Anorexia
Prolonged refusal to eat adequate amounts of food
Bulimia
Engages in periodic episodes of binge eating and then purges (vomiting or laxatives)
Binge
Eating extreme amounts of food (3-5 times normal amount) in a discrete period of time (less than one hour)
High fat/sugar/calorie amounts
During this time they feel out of control

Results from extreme and repeated trauma that occurs during important periods of development during childhood.
