Explain the three stage method for the sudan iii test for lipids

Answer 1

1) prepare food sample but dont filter it and add 5cm cubed of it to test tube
2) add three drops of sudan iii stain solution using pipette and gently shake
3) if lipids is present it will seperate into two layers, top red and bottom colourless
