Explain the 5 stages on the bendeicts test for sugars

Answer 1

1) first prepare a food sample and transfer 5 cm cubed of it to a test tube
2) add boiling water of 75 degrees to a different test tube
3) using a pipette add 10 drops of benedicts solution to the test tube
4) place test tube in water bath and leave in for 5 mins
5) if sugar is present it will turn from blue to organge
