Dative Case
In English, we use words like “to” or “toward” to talk about direction. But in Turkish, they use the ‑a/e ending. The marker of the dative case is e, a; after a vowel it is ye, ya. This is the case with indirect objects. E.g: Ayşe eve geldi. 'Ayşe came home [lit. 'to the house'].'
52
Ablative Case
The marker of the ablative case is den, dan; after voiceless consonants, tan, ten. This is the case with starting points or origins. It is sometimes used to express motion away from something. Öğrenci okuldan çıktı. 'The teacher left the school.'
53
Accusative Case
The marker of the accusative case is i, ı, ü, u. This is the case of the definite direct object. E.g: Öğretmeni gördüm. 'I saw the teacher.'

I'm studying at Soas. I currently live in London but previously lived in Birmingham. I study comparative literature. I learn Turkish every week. I love my school. I like reading books. It's interesting to read. I read Nazım Hickmet's poems. I have a little sister. My sister likes to read books. My sister's name is Zeyneb. I've been tired all the time lately. I use medication constantly. I hate the rain in London. I love green like the leaves of trees. I meet my friends on weekends. We talk. I will see my family this weekend.
Soas'ta okuyorum. Şu anda Londra'da yaşıyorum ama daha önce Birmingham'da yaşadım. Karşılaştırmalı edebiyat okuyorum. Her hafta Türkçe öğreniyorum. Okulumu seviyorum. Kitap okumayı severim. Okumak ilginç. Nazım Hickmet'in şiirlerini okudum.

I wake up at seven in the morning. After that I brush my teeth. I eat a red apple every morning. I like to walk to school. I study comparative literature. I go to the library and read books for my class. I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I eat dinner at home. I eat fish every day. Then I take a shower. I read a book by Nazım Hikmet. I also drink hot tea. Then I go to bed at ten o'clock.
Sabah yedide uyanıyorum. Bundan sonra dişlerimi fırçalarım. Her sabah kırmızı elma yerim. Okula yürüyerek gitmeyi seviyorum. Karşılaştırmalı edebiyat okuyorum. Kütüphaneye gidiyorum ve dersim için kitap okuyorum. Gün boyunca çok fazla su içerim. Akşam yemeğini evde yiyorum. Her gün balık yerim. Sonrasında duş alırım. Nazım Hikmet'in bir kitabını okudum. Ben de sıcak çay içerim. Sonra saat onda yatarım.
