They used inferior wood to store their provisions due to Drake’s attack so they made them quickly and they started to rot when they finally got out there
How did planning and communication errors result in the Spanish defeat
The duke of parma who was supposed to command a fleet from the netherlands didn’t control any deep sea ports which large war ships needed meaning he had to use smaller ships that would take 48 hours to load and set sail
It took a week to even communicate with Parma and Medina Sidonia meaning by the time the message got to Parma that they were in the channel,the English and Spanish were already battling in Calais
