A

It lines the inside of organs ( e.g bladder)

Functions to protect organs from invasive bacteria, injury, excessive water and chemicals

Also functions to secrete chemicals such as hormones and enzymes

What is the function of connective tissue?

A

Is found in between other tissues around the body.

It functions to support, protect and transport substances within the body

E.g- cartilage, tendons, blood, adipose ( fat cells)

A

Muscular tissue is a soft tissue that functions to help movement in the body.

It also helps to maintain posture and respiration in the body

Eg - cardiac, smooth, skeletal
