What are the seven main parts of the brain?
Frontal lobe, pariental lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, cerebellum, brain stem and hypothalamus.
What are all the lobes called?
cerebrum
What does the parietal lobe do?
Allows you to feel sensations
What does the cerebellum do?
Allows you to balance and coordination.
what does the frontal lobe do?
Allows you to move, think and speak
What does the brain stem do?
Controls swallowing, breathing, heart rate and blood flow.
What does the hypothalamus do?
Constantly checks the bodies internal environment such as temp, pH, blood glucose, blood pressure, water concentration… Plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis.
What does the occipital lobe do?
Allows you to see and controls your vision.
What does the temporal lobe do?
Allows you to understand and hear.
