What are the functions of the cerebrum?
The cerebrum is responsible for voluntary movements and intelligence, learning and judgement.
Where are the thalamus and hypothalamus located in relation to each other?
The thalamus is located below the cerebrum. The hypothalamus is below the thalamus.
What is the function of the hypothalamus?
The hypothalamus controls hunger and thirst recognition and body temperature.
Where is the cerebellum located?
The cerebellum is located towards the back of the brain below the cerebrum.
What are the functions of the cerebellum?
The cerebellum is responsible for muscle coordination and muscle tone.
What structures make up the brain stem?
Midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata.
What is the function of the oblongata?
Responsible for life functions like blood pressure, heart rate and breathing
What are the four lobes of the cerebrum?
Frontal,parietal,occipital and temporal
