The divine presence
A
Although jews do not believe in the ‘Holy Spirit’ in the same way as christians,they do believe that God is a divine presence on Earth. In the Old T God showed himself to the jews in different ways- for example a burning bush, a pillar of fire and a cloud. During Exodus the jews carried a tent with them- this was called a tabernacle. They believe this is what holds the Shekinah.
