The Earth, The Sun, The Moon And The Sky Flashcards

1
Q

Why do we have day and night?

A

Th Earth rotates on its axis. It takes the Earth 24 hours to complete a full turn. When the part of the Earth that we are on is facing the sun, it is day time. But when it is facing away (towards the moon) it is night time.
