A

Lack of food and water and the air on the trains and in the camps; they were starved, tortured, etc.

  1. In crowded trains going to the camps, many died from hunger, sickness, and lack of air.
  2. In the camps, people were killed in gas chambers.
  3. Some were shot or beaten by guards.
  4. Others died from starvation, disease, or being forced to do hard work with little rest or food

What would happen to the bodies of those killed in the gas chambers?

A

If they had gold fillings, Hitler would save them; their skin was made into lamps, bones were made into fertilizer, and hair was used to stuff mattresses. Buchenwald concentration camp main place this took place.
