Can RVN’s and SVN’s have personal autonomy?
No, they can only act under direction of a veterinary surgeon so they do not have full professional autonomy.
Can a RVN perform minor surgery without vet supervision?
Yes, if they have a personal scope of competence and feel capable to do so.
