The two leaders of industrial employers and trade unions made a pact - trade unions wouldn’t interfere with private ownership and the industrialists would allow worker communities and 8 hour working days. 15th November 1918.

The Spartakist Uprising of January 1919 - the government fled Berlin to Weimar, and stayed there even after Liebknect and Luxembourg are captured and killed.

March 1920 - they left because they had no support which led to strikes and Berlin came to a standstill.

A

A

November 1923 - because von Kahr and Lossow told the public of the Putsch before it actually happened and denounced it, so Hitler and Ludendorff had to march on Munich and not Berlin.

A

January 1923 - because the government ordered the use of passive resistance, so the workers stopped producing. This meant no income which meant more debt for the Republic.
