Explain two religious beliefs about gender discrimination

A

some Christians believe that gender discrimination is wrong because the Bible says that everyone is “one in Jesus Christ“ therefore discrimination disobeys gods teachings and is a sin

Some Buddhists believe the gender discrimination is wrong because it is seen as an unskilful action that lacks karuna and Metta. Therefore it may cause suffering and can lead to bad karma, reducing your chances of enlightenment.

Q

Give two religious beliefs to show that racial discrimination is wrong

A

One religious belief about why racial discrimination is wrong is the fact that the Bible says “do not mistreat foreigners living in your land” which means Christians believe that God does not approve a racial discrimination and therefore it is immoral and wrong

Another religious belief is the Buddhist belief that racial discrimination lacks karuna and metta and causes suffering. Causing suffering is seen as on skilful, and therefore people who racially discriminate have a smaller chance of being enlightened.
