How do you achieve the style of rock drumming?
Heavy back beat on 2 & 4, Lots of syncopation on the bass drum and slightly loose hi hats to give the rhythm more bite.

Make sure all working parts (pedals,stands and tension bolts) are oiled frequently

Double ply heads for more durability tuned slightly loose for a deeper sound.
