why do substances with high chemical potential spontaneousy change ?
- high enthalpy thefore have large capcaity to do work by warming the surroundings
- ….as a result they have low enthalpy thefore it has large capacity to do work by gainign entropy during reactions were entropy increases
what does chemical potentila measure ?
the capacity of a system to do useful work
whta is free energy ?
what remains of chemical potential after bring used up in a system
