Climb & Descending Tolerances
Heading +/- 5 Degrees, Airspeed +/- 5 knots
Climbing & Descending Turns Tolerances
To predetermined altitude,
Airspeed +/- 5 knots, height +/- 100ft
Straight and level flight tolerances
Heading +/-5 degrees
Height +/- 100 feet
Limited Panel Tolerances
Using ASI/VSI/Standby AH Compass
+/-20 Degrees initally then +/-10 Degrees
Speed +/- 10 knots, height +/- 100 feet
Holding tolerance
Alitude +/- 100ft
Turns at Rate 1 or 25 degrees whichever lesser.
DME Arc Tolerance
+/-1nm Arc, and all crossing heights
Initiation of Missed Tolerance
3 seconds for recognition, 3 seconds for initiation
Angle of Bank & Rate of Turn Tolerance
Generally 25 Degrees or Rate One, whichever less. May increase to make good desired track.
Circling manoeuvre is 20 Degrees or Rate One

VOR Approach Tolerance
Altitude +/- 100 Ft reducing to maximum of +50ft and not below MDA.
Tracking +/-5 degrees, reducing to +/-2.5 Degrees in last 300 feet.
ILS Approach Tolerance
LLZ Tracking, 1/4 Scale Left and Right from FAP/FAF onward
Glidepath 1/2 Scale Above and 1/4 scale Below from FAP/FAF. In final 300 FT 1/4 Scale Above and Below.
Go Around commenced not below DA
RNAV/RNP Tolerances
Demonstrate correct programming/data checking
Tracking within 1/2 Scale deflection. 1/4 Scale for last 300 feet.
LNAV only, +/-300 ft of Advisory Altitudes, commence Missed approach not below MDA
LNAV/VNAV VPATH 1/2 scale, missed approach commencing not below DA
Must respond to POS, INTEG, FMS failure.
Missed Approach procedure Tolerance
Heading +/- 5 Degrees
Circling Approach Tolerance
Pref 80 degrees of circling, lowest minima certified for aircraft, altitude as per FE, no more than visibility minima
Engine Failure Take off Tolerance
Heading +/-15 degrees initially then +/- 5 degrees
