A hazard refers to a process, phenomenon, or a human activity that may cause loss of life, other health impacts, property damage, as well as social and economic consequences
What are some common causes of fire hazards?
- unatended cooking
- faulty electrical appliances and wiring, which can ignite nearby materials, resulting in a fire

- people may suffer burns
- severe burns thay may lead to disabilities or death
- fumes from fire cause varioud health issues like headache, dizziness, weakness and confusion, making harder for people to escape a fire. These can also lead to loss of conciousness or death

- breathing difficulties, which may lead to death

deforestation, emissions from vehicles

- Fires can destroy properties which leads to economic losses as goods, furniture and important documents may be destroyed
- Can lead to further costs as money in required to repair and buy damaged properties
