  • a shortage of houses drives up prices so some can not afford to live there

  • many areas with higher population have a lower annual rainfall
  • causes water stress where there isnt enough water to meet peoples needs
  • this requires the transfer of water between areas of water surplus and areas of water deficit

  • In 2001 highest number of people were betwen 30-39yr olds due to high birth rates in the 1960’s
  • in 2015 highest number of people were 40-49
  • between 2001-2015 the propertion of 20-29yr olds due to young mirgants
  • people ages 0-39 increased by 3% between 2001-2015
  • people over 39 increased by 18%

Overall shows that the UK’s population is getting older
