What was Lebensraum?
It meant living space; its plan was to invade other countries to make Germany larger

Union with Austria, forbidden by the Treaty of Versailles

A pact signed by Japan and Germany, and later Italy, to stop the spread of communism

Because he was born in Austria

In response to the Sudetenland crisis, in order to resolve the threat of war

In May 1939, Hitler and Mussolini turned their friendship into a full military alliance

They agreed to invade Poland and the British and French had to honour obligations to Poland, and had to declare war on Germany
