  1. Trauma (blunt, penetrating)
  2. Spontaneous
    • v/s abnormal
    • tumors
    • clotting disorders (sickle, anticoagulant, blood dyscrasia)

A
Ocular factor 
1. 90% AC volume * 9 days
2. IOP 
(>50mmHg* 5 days, >35mmHg*7 days)
(>25mmHg*6 days)
3. Corneal blood staining 

Patient factors

  1. Risk of G damage (elderly, glaucoma, v/s d/s
  2. Sickle cell A
  3. Risk of staining & amblyopia (child)
