A

A cable has possibly come loose or been damaged. Check the connectivity and attempt to reseat the cable.

what should you do if you see the display monitor is dim?

A

check the brightness controls. If the monitor has simply failed you can swap out the old monitor for a new one. Swapping out the monitor is also a good way to see if the issue is beyond the monitors configuration.

A

check the cable itself for connectivity issues. check the individual pins of the video connection itself as damaged pins could cause this.

A
