A

Once of the dead Curatti’s fiancé cried because he was dead
The Last roman killed her because she cried in his victory
Arrested and taken to the king
The law of two men must judge the de of treason

If the appeal is defeated he should be beaten in and out of the city
He was condemned (Tullus appealed him)
The father of the murdered girl supported the. Man so he wasn’t killed…sister beam still in place today

The battle against the Fidenates and

A

Mettius withdrew gradually towards the mountains intending to join the winning side
Asked cavalry to raise spears so others could not see this
Tullus’s men thought this was part of his plan(those that had seen)
Fidenates thought that they would be cut of from their town (due to mettius’s position) they turned and fled,Turnus chased them
Turned even more fiercely on the Veiians

Mettius’ punishment

A

Mettius descended onto the plain and praised Tulus
Tullus ordered the Albans and Romans to camp together
Tullus-“we were not only fighting an enemy but the dishonesty and betrayal of our allies” Mettius started the war,responsible for retreat and broke the Rome/Alban treaty
He had pretended that them retreating was his plan- for courage
Mettius was tied to four chariots and his body was torn apart
“First and last time that punishment was ever used”
