  • made a working agreement - expectations clear → agreed upon set of guidelines

Q

how do you reward being transparent effectively

A

understand intrinsic and extrinsic motivation first

  • extrinsic - drive behaviour by using external rewards e.g. bonus - usually not effective for complex creative work
  • intrinsic - people almost rewards themselves by doing something for someone else
  • technique - team member would give someone a $10 coffee voucher for acknowledging that they are inspired them to be more of x (transparent etc.)
