Nouvelle-France. British troops began bombarding the town of quebec

General montcalm most of the French troops stationed at Beauport; when he got word that the British were outside Quebec’s walls, he had to march his soldiers back into town. They arrived exhusted

HBC-british set trading posts along the hudson bay since rivers from all over led to hudson bay, they domatnted the fur trade.

NWC-French took trading at the rivers leading to husdon bay intersepting the HBC trade.

HBC then did the same thing intersepting their trade, and making it better.
