Why has globalization increased consumerism?
People just have to click a button, they don’t understand where their purchases are coming from because it is a complex global market
Why does globalization hurt workers?
It lowers their wages and makes their job more extreme. Global demands are much harder to meet than national ones, and they can put a lot of pressure on workers

What is the GATT?
the global agreement on tarrifs and trade (1947) reduced tarrifs and put restrictions on trade driving the global market

A big global group with most of the countries created in Oct 24 1945 with a goal of WORLD PEACCE

general assebly, security, secretariat, int national court of justice, economic and social council, and the trusteeship council
what does the general assembly do
it is a part of the UN that has one of every country and they discuss and debate

the part of UN that makes sure regulations are justified and settles int national law disputes
