  • length of wire: as length goes up, resistance goes up
  • temperature: as temperature goes up, resistance goes up
  • cross sectional area: as the cross sectional area goes up, resistance goes down
  • material: if it is a conductor, resistance goes down. If it is an insulator, resistance goes up
