The Cordillera
Landforms: Mountains, valleys, and coastal areas.
Climate: Mild on the coast, colder and wetter in the mountains.
Vegetation: Forests with pine, and cedar trees.
Wildlife: Bears, mountain goats, moose, and eagles.
Natural Resources: Timber, minerals, fish, and oil.
The Prairies
Landforms: Flat plains, rolling hills, river valleys
Climate: Dry, hot summers and cold winters
Vegetation: Grasses, and very few trees
Wildlife: Deer, coyotes, rabbits, birds
Natural Resources: Wheat, canola, oil, natural gas
