Difference

Bacteria:
- Prokaryotes,
- DO NOT have a nucleus & membrane-bound organelles
- considered living things
- RESPOND to antibotics
- BINARY FISSION (reproduce by splitting)

Viruses:
- Eukaryotes
- DO HAVE genetic material (DNA or RNA)
- DO NOT respond to antibiotics
- require a HOST to reproduce using the lytic or lysogenic cycle
