A

Shay’s Rebellion happened because of farmers who were against high taxes put out by the gov. This showed just how weak the Articles of Confederation were. So the people thought of making a new government.

What were some compromises made in the process of making the Constitution?

A

Compromises like the Great Compromise combine ideas of the New Jersey Plan; aimed at smaller states, unicameral legislature, and equal representatives per state; and the Virginia Plan; aimed at bigger states, three branches, and population-determined members of representatives.
