The belief that certain nations within Canada should separate (Quebec, Alberta, Indigenous, Etc.)
Institutions
Groups that work to affirm a type of identity- For example, churches are institutions
Pluralism
Two or more nations exist within Canada
Canadian Confederation
the British North America Act officially made Canada a country (confederation)
