Types of volcanoes
Shield volcanoes - have a broad base and gently sloping sides. Mild eruptions
Cinder cone volcanoes- form when ash and larva harden in the air and build up around a vent. Steep
Composite volcanoes- formed from alternating layers of larva flow and pyroclastic material. Steep mountains
