25th Amendment
Changes the order of succession if the president resigns, dies, or is voted by 2/3rds of congress and majority of cabinet as unfit for the job. IF the VP dies or leaves, president nominates and congress votes on it.

Clinton Impeachment
Jennifer Flowers accuses Clinton of twelve year affair. Clinton denied. Paula Jones accuses Clinton of sexually harassing her. She sued him and was paid 850,000. Clinton doesn't apologize. Monica Lewinski is a 22 year old white house intern and had an affair with president Clinton. She was quickly moved to the Pentagon where she shared with Linda Tripp about the affair. During Paula Jones trial, Linda Tripp turns the recording over to Ken Star. Clinton admits to improper physical relationship and apologizes to the nation. The charge against Clinton was obstruction of justice and Perjury. He was impeached but not removed from office.

Electoral College
Founding Fathers chose this method because they didn't trust the people would make the right decision. It allowed for the voting process to go quicker. 538 electoral votes/270 needed for presidency. Amount of Electoral Votes depends on population in each state. Flaws - Popular winner isn't guaranteed. Winner Takes All. Some states have disproportionate amounts of power. It will never go away because it promotes a two party system and it's difficult to amend. It also identifies a president quickly.

Presidents Chief of Staff (Free Response) Pt 1
Mike Mulvaney. Political Appointee of the President who doesn't require senate confirmation who serves at the pleasure off the President. He selects key White House staff and supervises them. Structures the Whitehouse staff system. Protects the interest of the president. Negotiates with congress and other members of the executive branch, and extra gov political groups to implement the presidents agenda. Advise the president on various issues including telling the president what they don't want to hear.
