Roles of the president

Executive Orders
a directive rule or regulation that has the effect of a law, arises from two sources: the Constitution and the Acts of Congress
Appointment power
with Senate consist the President names top officers of government: ambassadors/diplomats, cabinet members, head of such independent agencies such as the EPA and NASA, federal judges, officers in the armed forces. President may remove any appointees except for federal judges.
