Ambulance
a vehicle specially equipped for taking sick or injured people to and from the hospital, especially in emergencies.
Burn
Hold the burned area under cool (not cold) running water or apply a cool, wet compress until the pain eases.
Diabetes
is a disease in which your blood glucose, or blood sugar, levels are too high.
immobilisation
the act of limiting movement or making incapable of movement; “the storm caused complete immobilization of the rescue team
Recovery Position
is one of a series of variations on a lateral recumbent or three-quarters prone position of the body, often used for unconscious but breathing casualties.
Anaphylaxis
an acute allergic reaction to an antigen (e.g. a bee sting) to which the body has become hypersensitive.

Swelling
an abnormal enlargement of a part of the body, typically as a result of an accumulation of fluid.
Angina
condition marked by severe pain in the chest, often also spreading to the shoulders, arms, and neck, caused by an inadequate blood supply to the heart.
Cpr
is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
Faint
is a temporary loss of consciousness. If you’re about to faint, you’ll feel dizzy, lightheaded, or nauseous.
Seizure
is a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain. It can cause changes in your behavior, movements or feelings, and in levels of consciousness.
Symptoms
a physical or mental feature which is regarded as indicating a condition of disease, particularly such a feature that is apparent to the patient.
Asthma
a respiratory condition marked by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing. It usually results from an allergic reaction or other forms of hypersensitivity.
Defibrillation
the stopping of fibrillation of the heart by administering a controlled electric shock in order to allow restoration of the normal rhythm.
Fracture
the cracking or breaking of a hard object or material.
Shock
is a life-threatening condition that occurs when the body is not getting enough blood flow.
Wound
an injury to living tissue caused by a cut, blow, or other impact, typically one in which the skin is cut or broken.
