Axillary nerve (C5, C6)
Deltoid actions
Flexes, extends, abducts, medially and laterally rotates shoulder joint
Supraspinatus attachments
supraspinous fossa of scapula to greater tubercle of humerus
Supraspinatus actions
initiates and assists deltoid in abduction (first 15 degrees)

Suprascapular nerve (C4, C5, C6)
Infraspinatus attachments
infraspinous fossa of scapula to greater tubercle of humerus
