If penicillin allergy: oral ciprofloxacin
Which antibiotics would you use for pyelonephritis with sepsis?

IV amoxicillin, PLUS
IV gentamicin
In penicillin allergy: ONLY IV gentamicin
Duration: 7 days
How would you treat a catheter-related UTI? (3)
Single dose IV gentamicin OR oral ciprofloxacin
Remove/replace catheter
Obtain urine culture
How would you treat a catheter related UTI with sepsis?
Remove/replace catheter

Antibiotics as for pyelonephritis (IV amoxicillin PLUS IV gentamicin)
