Potent hypotensive effects, especially when used in combination with B-Blocker/TLD

Alpha-blocker + vasodilator properties.

Hydralazine hydrochloride

Resistant hypertension
Rarely used.
Must be given in adjunct to other antihypertensives.
Used alone = tachycardia + fluid retention

Pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Used under specialist supervision.
