What is ventilation required for?
Air for combustion, Dissipate heat, Remove condensation, Provide fresh air
What is Adventitious Ventilation?
Air that enters the building through cracks or gaps around doors and windows
What are the requirements for a flueless gas heater?
Never used in a bedroom/bathroom
Max 4.2KW (not too much combustion)
Adequate ventilation (manufacturer instructions)
Oxygen depletion sensor (ODS)

12k MM² Split between high and low points 6k² each with 1.6m gap (size of average human roughly)
What is the minimum vent size for a flueless gas heater?
6500mm²
Ventilation requirements for a tumble dryer?
Under 3kw (domestic) temporary vent (openable window) minimum 6500mm² or else ducted outside
Over 3kw (industrial/commercial) Permeant duct 6500mm²
Open flue and room sealed flue ventilation requirements?
450mm² per KW for outside - 900mm² per KW for through a room and x2 for room sealed
