A

Bulletins issued to indicate a procedural change and supersede information contain in the manual. They remain in the IPM until incorporated into the IPM by revision. (Sent to Comply365 on iphone EFB)
Previous revised bulletins expire 5 days after effective date.

What is the Station Assignment Chart?

A

It gives you information on where to find areas of the AC or procedures to follow if you are FA1 or FA2. (ex. Jump seats, emergency equipment check, boarding position, Door preflight and arming, Safety Demo area, Service area, Crosscheck, Deplaning position, FA IPM/Totebag storage, FA Suitcase storage, Demo equipment, etc. (Page 123 Ch 3 sect 2)

Phase I Preflight Ground Procedures

A
  • Report to operations 1 hr before departure in regulation Uniform.
  • Sign in for originating flight segment
  • Ensure Iphone EFB is on, fully charged and synced.

*Confirm access to IPM in Comply 365

*Log into Comply365 and manually sync, open IPM and ensure IPM is on Iphone EFB.

*Meet the Capitan (Capitan conducts pre flight briefing, if FA not present ensure giving the info prior to departure, Discuss departure, arrival, gate numbers and if jet bride is available at gate)

*Check Company mailbox and HI6

*Pre plan service with other FA

*FA’s check in with gate agent to scan badges or authorized gate personnel.

  • Obtain Preliminary paperwork from gate agent and discuss from Agent’s AE Chat (special needs customers, UMNR’s Armed cust, Broken seats, jetbridge, etc.)

*Based on mandatory and regulatory audits, FA and Gate agents must agree upin customer boarding time.

*Board AC no later than 40 min prior to departure.

A

If there are 2 or more FA on board, One FA may step out of the AC to use jet bridge phone for emergencies or safety reasons only. The other FA must remain inside the AC. No FA are allowed to step out of the AC onto the jet bridge for any reason but emergencies (personal calls, etc, not permitted).
