A meeting of the local members of a political party to select delegates to the national party convention. A caucus is a substitute for a primary election.

A
Principe qui s’applique dans quasi la totalité des États américains. Permet au candidat qui recueille les voix d’une majorité de grands électeurs dans un État donné de remporter la totalité des voix.
