As a unilateral painful cystic lesion adjacent to the vaginal canal

Secondary syphilis

Koilocytes ( raisin shaped nucleus)

White patch (Leukoplakia) with parchment like vulvar skin
What is age group of women with Lichen Sclerosis
Postmenopausal women
Is Lichen Sclerosis benign? is there an increased risk of cancer
It is benign but has associated increased risk of squamous cell carcinoma
What are the Characteristics of Lichen Simplex Chronicus
Hyperplasia of the vulvar squamous epithelium
How does Lichen Simplex Chronicus present
Leukoplakia with leathery vuvlar skin
What is Lichen Simplex Chronicus associated with
Chronic irritation and scratching
Is Lichen Simplex Chronicus Benign and does it have an increased risk of carcinoma
It is benign and has no increased risk of carcinoma
How does Vulvar Carcinoma Present
Presents as Leukoplakia, biopsy needed to determine cause
What are causes of Vulvar Carcinoma
Can be due to HPV or not and if due to HPV most likely high risk types 16 and 18
What is the Characteristic of Extramammary Paget Diseases
Malignant epithelial cells in the epidermis of the vulva. Ususally means Carcinoma in Situ with no underlying carcinoma
How does Extramammary Paget disease present
Erythematus, Pruritic ulcerated vulvar skin
What must it be distinguished from? And how does one Distinguish this?
Needs to be distinguished from melanoma. Paget cells are PAS + , Keratin + and S100-
