3
Q

Strengths and weaknesses of EEG

A

Strength- Useful in discovering stages of sleep, epilepsy
Strength - Higher temporal resolution than fMRI - can monitor ongoing activities

L - lower spatial resolution
L - Not invasive enough to discover about certain disorders

Q

Strengths and weaknesses of ERPS

A

strength- Good temporal validity - better than EEG

Limitation - background noises can get in the way

Q

strenght weakneses of fMRI

A

strength - Good spatial resolution up to 4 images per second
strength - loss less invasive than things like PET
limitation - Expensive
Limitation- Poor temporal validity 5 sec difference between images
