Define weather
The conditions outside considered from day to day; compared with climate
Define climate
Weather conditions of an area averaged over many years
Explain why Manitoba has such drastic weather changes
Because we sit on the top of the earth the earths tilt effects us much more than other places so we get very hot summers and very cold winters
What would happen to the earth if it had the same rotation speed as the moon?
Parts of the sun would bake from long periods of sun exposure other parts would freeze from no exposure
What are the five main layers of the atmosphere?
Give a brief description of each
Listed from lowest to highest
Troposphere (high density, contains moisture), stratosphere (contains ozone), mesosphere (extremely low temperature) , thermosphere (electromagnetic waves absorbed here), exosphere (spaceeee)
