How should you stop taking it?

A

MUST TAPER to prevent adrenal atrophy/crisis

Never stop suddenly, even if symptoms improve!

Never stop suddenly, even if patients develop severe adverse effects!

SYSTEMIC: Patient Adrenal gland may stop producing Steroids= ADRENAL CRISIS!!!
