superficial, that is like a sunburn. it is red with erythema, and blanching. Sensation is intact and painful

3-4 days to heal

how can you determine if it is a superficial partial thickness
A
into the capillary dermis, so pink, moist, blisters and blanching. sensation intact

1-3 weeks

what is a deep partial thickness burn
A
into reticular dermis, white, no blanching, diminished to insensate sensation, and needs 3-9 weeks to heal.

what is a full thickness 3rd degree burn
A
white, red, brown black and leathery, no blanching and no sensation, WILL NEED SURGERY
