What is an exclusion clause?

A contractual term purporting to exempt, exclude or limit liability (for any breach of contract or negligence) by a party in breach of contract


What is the Contra proferentem rule

In other words, interpreted in the way ‘least favourable’ to the interest of the party who had imposed it.


What does the Consumer Rights Act cover?

Business to consumer’ contracts only
Note, covers a wide variety of unfair terms
