How do you treat adult fractures?

Surgery with rods and nails
If they really can't have surgery, then traction

How to treat pediatric fractures in ages
1. 0-3 months
2. 3-36 months (or 5 years)
3. 2-10 yeards
4. 11-16 years
5. Skeletally mature

1. Pavlik harness
2. Hip spica/traction
3. Flexible nails
4. Plating or trochanteric IM nail
5. Adult IM nail

Corner fractures

Can only get these in a baby with shaking a limb that doesn't have protective muscle tone

Moderate leg length difference management

2-8 cm projected LLD
Epiphysidesis of the longer leg (surgically close the growth plate)

Severe LLD management

> 8-10 cm projected LLD
Distraction osteogenesis (slowly extend the shorter leg)
