What is meant by the term overweight?
A soldier is considered overweight when his or her percent body fat exceeds the standard specified in AR 600-9
What are the primary objectives of the Army Wight Control Program
Ensure all personnel are able to meet the physical demands of their duties
Present a trim military appearance

How often should soldiers be weighed
A soldier should be weighed when they take they APFT every 6 months

The method of determining the percent of body fat on a soldier

How many times are each measurement required to be made
Three times. Each measurement will be within a half inch of the others
How many people should be utilized in the taping of soldiers
Two. One to place the measure and determine the measurements the other to assure proper placement and tension of tape as well as record the measurement on a worksheet
If circumstance prevents the soldier from being weighed immediately after the APFT when can they be weighed?
Within 30 days of the APFT
Is it a requirement that all TDY and PCS orders contain what statement in regards to weight control
You are responsible for reporting to your next duty station/school in satisfactory physical condition able to pass the Army physical Fitness Test and meet weight standards
